If we lived in a world
Where wishes were granted,
What would you wish for?
Would you wish for more riches?
A nicer car,
A bigger house,
Cuter clothes,
Better looks?
Or would you wish for more control?
The family you want -
The sister to love you,
The brother to protect you,
The sweet wife to be with you,
The handsome husband to love you?
Imagine how much more self-centered our world would be,
Imagine everyone shouting "Me, me, me!"
But what if you wished for more riches to give?
To give to the poor,
Give to your neighbor?
What if you wished for more control over yourself?
To become nicer, friendlier,
More outgoing,
More compassionate
Imagine how awesome our world could be!
Imagine a syrupy-sweet, caring, selfless universe
Imagine,
The great possibilities.
