Sweet lullabies
play two heartbeats
A bouncy hum
sings ear drum treats

Light evades
Shadows creep
Warmth surrounds
Liquid’s Deep

Tossing, Tumbling
twirling ‘round
Reaching, stretching
feeling ground

A warm caress
is not known yet
Though love inside
can still all fret

A chord of life’s
the only need
to bloom from earth
one tiny seed

Gentle hands
are always there
hold so safely
with great care

Foreign hands
break in the nest
Confusion sets
steals sweet rest

Cannot escape
the grasp of fate
It crushes blossom
with raw hate

Tears spilled out
aren’t seen at all
No comfort kiss
Just bitter gaul

Pulling, stabbing
yanking out
Ripping, burning
voiceless shout

Heart is broken
Laughter’s crushed
Fright consumes
Torment’s rushed

The delicate
Can’t e’re know why
Solos lift up
Though heartbeats die
