She must have deep roots

She sends out green shoots

All tattered and torn

She weathered the storm

Close to destruction

Move the obstruction

Her Branches Laid waste

With loud chainsaw haste

Hurricane broke her

Now sunshine strokes her

Her spark will not die

Deep roots still reach high
