Not a Thought
I think I thought I needed you
And I want does not get
As if a wanton thought would do
Inmind or deedand yet
I feel so deep I yearn for you
And passion will unfold
We know that we can fit as two
Though pleasures be untold
Emotions or ideas sweet
A thousand words or art
All crumble at our feet my dear
For love is Love dear heart
A pedestal is not your place
As if you had a role
Farover and above that stage
You permeate my soul
So if a card said thoughts of you
Of course this thinker lied
Or time was short or I ran dry
Or fountain pen denied
The pleasure gained from writing this
When all is said and done
You lift me to a higher bliss
Eternal spirits one
