You were my angel,

I your demon

You were called back from the gates of Hell

And I was brought by your summon

The memories of us still linger and last

You’re a part of my history, my eternal past

Everywhere I go, a shadow of our love follows me, reminding me of you

Reciting incantations, slivers of happiness when we were not one, but two

Forget me

Move on, it’s done

Can’t you see

You were my only one

Let me breathe

Take away the blinding light

Let me forget that I made a mistake that felt so right
