Those memories

Of you having fun

Of you laughing

Those memories

Of your smile

Of your playfulness

There are bad and good memories

But the ones I cherish

Are the ones with you

No matter if it was bad

As long as I was with you

It was good

But now I'm not with you

But those memories are still there

They play over and over in my mind

I see you in your room where you should be

But I don't want to see you with that pain

Maybe that's why your up in heaven

Maybe that's why you've left me to have my own memories

With other people

Are they all used up

Or are those memories fading

Your smile, Your laugh,

Our memories

Yeah thats how I felt.. Thankyou, I'm glad you liked it. Nobody wants to lose there younger sibling. And no one can think of life without them. Without seeing them when you come home from school or playing a small game with them. None of us wants to imagine it.. but I did. It's just the way life goes. I hope you keep that close bond with your sister forever.. you never know what can happen. Thankyou again for the comment!! I'll make sure to check out some of your writings!

Hello Cassie,

A very touching Poem. Your sister will never be gone as long as you remember her. Even when you get to my age she will still be there, at the age that you remember her as.

I once went to a Military Re-union with my mother and as I glanced around the Chapel I wondered what all these decrepit old men had to do with Daddy.

I suddenly realised that this was how he would have looked, however I had this beautiful memory of a fine young man to keep forever.

Kind regards,
Susan

I know I shall never forget her. Because if I would I would have forgot her by now. As it would be the 2 yr. anniversary of her passing away on May 4th. And she is not an easy 10 yr. old girl to forget. thank you very much for commenting on my poem. It means a lot. And God bless your family.
Take Care,
~Love~

yeah I know.... It's just the heat of the moment you know? Do you ever go into your brothers room, and just imagine him there... I know I do. I love the memories and I hate them at the same time. I know I will never forget her because it is impossible to forget her.. I loved her too much. Please take care!!
~Love~
Cassie
