They Will Be Home Soon

Poetry By: crzyanglcassie14

A poem I wrote. It has a piece of me thrown into it!! It's not really religious, but it can be thought either way. It's for all my readers though. If you aren't a religious, it could be from a friend, parent. For religious, you'll probably think of God. Thankyou!! I hope to hear some comments!!

You tell me to smile

To always think positive

To never frown

You tell me to laugh

To show my joy

To not cry

You tell me its alright

That all will be well

I'm trying so hard

To stand up

Show my smile even when no one can see

I will be happy

No matter what

Everything deserves happiness

Everyone deserves happiness

I will laugh

To pass the laughs around

I will smile so everyone smiles

I won't cry

When there is no need

I will be happy

I will be happy for you

There's nothing to cry about

Young one

There's nothing to be scared of

They will be home soon

The doors are locked

The windows too

Do not fret my young child

I'm always there beside you

Do not cry my daughter

For I am holding you

I am guiding you

I am holding you up

Do not cry

Oh my children

Do not cry

I'm right here

I'm standing right here

All is well

There's no need to cry
