Twisted nights of hopeless dreams
Now they perish against the unseen.
Pictures; a waterfall of truth cascades,
Can't escape my mind's deadly raids.
Fight the images of murderous fears!
Agonizing honesty dull these spears.
Armies of reality slam through my calm,
Only to await that avengeful psalm.
Love; but a word used against the weak,
And often my heart, foolish traitor, it will seek.
Fear not! My used and tortured soul,
Though, piece by piece, they have stole.
The stormy nights scream songs of hate:
An ode to the years I slept in wait.
Gifts, grieving Mother Nature brings,
Apon her stengthened, wintery wings.
Cold as ice, the cliche' resounds,
To stare down the deceiving hounds.
Bluffing eyes of innocent lovers,
No longer seen beneath my covers.
Strength of wind, an unstoppable force,
To strike and defeat the elusive source.
Body, small and insignifigant to say the least;
Beneath the skin, an angry beast.
Glittering snow lavished by sun's rays,
Draw out the ignorant on frosty days.
Alluring beauty once the object of scorn;
Now the temptresses greatest weapon worn.
Decieve this new warrior of intent?
Echoing hysteria came and went.
Sharpened nails and frozen heart unvieled;
Foretold heartbreaks have finally failed.
Now the truth sleeps under my banners flown.
In honor of the fallen tear and burried moan.
Mind, Heart, and Honesty fight as one.
Against that conspiring fool who thinks he has won.
