Hidden From Light

Poem By: Daemonic Resplendence
Poetry

Hm... I have no idea.
It's about chosing a "Path" between Light and Darkness.
I guess this can have different meaning for each reader.
For me, it shows that there is no right or wrong, that a path is just a choice of 'strange' meaning. Hm...

You can defy the Light,
And even run away.
You can go to darkness,

And hide terribly deep.

And even in the morning,
When the sun rises again,
Your body will be sick,

And asking for help.

And no matter why,
The Light will find you.
It will chase you,

And devour you.

You may be dark,
You may be hidden,
But that’s just for now.

Either path is wrong.

In the depths or on the summit.
In the sky or underground,
Even when you’re still,

Your path is wrong.

To the darkened, to the unlighted,
To the holy and the unholy,
To those who chose,
“The path is wrong”

Interesting read, I can definitely associate with that feeling and it is a good piece! You might want to explore more into the nature of things as you have stated them. The nature of darkness and its ability to conceal. The nature of light and its stark harsh reality. Just go a little deeper to explain the "strange" as you put it in your description and I think you can grow leaps and bounds! Even if you don't really understand the concept...explore your confusion! There are so many ways and "paths" to take you deeper into your own writing which will of course bring your readers along for the journey!

Keep it up! Keep those fingers pounding away at the apathetic keyboard! I am definitely going to be keeping an eye on your writing in the future! Good stuff!

I really respect your oppinion, you should know that. I'm glad you liked it, cause after reading "Surrender of Sanity" and "I Hate people and so can you" I think you're an exceptional writer. (again, is that spelled correctly ? I don't know what happens to me sometimes)

I Have to admit, I don't really like Fyodor Dostoyevsky, but i understand his work's impact on literature and human thought. I messed his name up, didn't I? :) -It is far easier to write it in Greek-

I see the way you got the message of the poem, which is hidden in a part of it, and I'm glad you saw it like that:) I didn't altered it at all, cause I wanted it to be an original copy of my strange thoughts. somethings are meant to be like that.
Thank you for reading!

wow well, true when u try to stick to one thing the other one comes to u and it feels like its killing u, in the dark side or in the light.
there is where i have learned how to ignore the choices and just accept whatever i or any other have become. It will never be easy its always a mental and spiritual fight but u can still label it as light or dark.
WHATEVER...i should shut up some times, but yeh, i liked. Very smooth i enjoyed it. Keep it up.

Thanks, senseless!)
I knew you would understand it through your own sight to the world (though I still can't explain it fully. Uh...)
I'm glad you liked it. Indeed, some part of it is about labeling Darkness and Light.
Thank you for reading!

WOW.
Powerful music eh? I love your selection with a very morose piece of writing.

Do we really, honestly choose a path? Not sure. I think paths choose us. Ever read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho? Incredibly moving story about surrender. As is his story of Eleven Minutes.

My favourite line is Hide Terribly Deep. The brain and soul are strange things. You're written this quite vaguely, I think you should re look at it with a more established patience to qualify exactly what is bothering you. (my god..i'm still listening to the music and just swept up at the moment).

Use your talent for spilling your soul onto paper, combine it with your natural esoteric nature and write for all your worth. You may be surprised what you can do. Why do you think the path is wrong, regardless?

Ok. Great writing and I hope you don't mind my insight.

Heh, I really like The Alchemist, and i believe Eleven Minutes is his best work. But that doesn't mean I totally agree with Paulo Coelho. I Like the way he writes - so clearly and so magically at the same time, getting the message across easily and effectively-, but I have different views.

The Path...uh... well, I still can't describe what the poem is about. I chose to publish as it was, cause somethings are better in their original form. Even "The girl in the Bottom" wasn't meant to be altered, but i wrote the second version as something extra, that would clear things up. (it's a special one to tell you the truth)

-OF COURSE I DON'T mind your insight! You're a Coelho reader, my friend.Plus, I respect every comment, as long as it isn't narrow-minded.

Hm... got too far, but have to carry on replying.

I don't want to tire you. Shortly, this poem is about anything and nothing. It's about Darkness and Light, about denying your nature and about accepting it. Kinda 'strange'... Still can't explain it nicely. :) The music, it is great indeed.

Creepy! I just viewed your profile page and seen you've listed your fav book as The Alchemist. I guess we have an undercurrent in common. Cool. My fav book too.
