The Empty Temple

Poem By: Daemonic Resplendence
Poetry

This is about religious foolishness.
If you don't like your religion to be attacked,
you better not read this.
-It is the story of a whole town that commited suicide because they thought they were cursed.
-in the end, the only rational person that remained buried their leftovers View table of contents...

…The empty Temple…

The silent moments are eternal,
In this void construction of stone.
The lost prayers are echoing to hell,
Yet there are still supporters to yell.
+
Though the skies were dark,
Even when rain flooded Heaven,
The sacred statues could watch
The desperate and holy march.
+
The city outside was soundless
As the believers were gathered inside,
The gray walls were then marked,
With smoke of flames till dusk.
+
The crosses were melted,
And the bodies were covered by mist.
Intelligence and god were absent.
And the sorrowful sacrifice had ended.
+
The small city in the forest
Had no more but one,
One lonely inhabitant,
Dressed in black, yet with a cross.
+
With no rush, but with patience,
He made a graveyard, for the lost.
With eagerness he buried them all,
Though he was unwelcome.

I would like to discuss this piece with you. May I have a calm and intelligent discussion with you via e-mail, or would you prefer to do it through booksie? Regardless, I would enjoying hearing about what inspired this piece and why you wrote it. It was very good, I might add. You are an excellent writer from what I can see and I look forward to reading more of your work. But I am particularly interested in this piece. Please message me on my booksie page if you would like to talk.

Shalom,
Alek Azrael

Really interesting. Nicely poured out. I was grown up as a christian now im a satanist, i really liked the ending where the last person had buried the lost and faithless ones. I dont really know what short of beliefs u got or anything but i got an impression that ur not a stupid person who believes in a ignorant God. I dont know what to say ...i really enjoyed it...im speechless .

Thanks...
You are right. I don't believe in God, but I have three religions that I like because they can help people and are peaceful.
1: Wicca. 2:Budhism 3:Christianity
Personaly I don't think we need God or Gods, but some people find it easier to cope with life when they believe in something.
As for the satanists, my only problem is when they kill others. I don't like violence, but I accept Evil as others accept Good.
You got a cool profile...:)

:0 Dude, I totally love the music. haha. It was great! And your words were really amazing - although I was kind of confused. haha. :) Right on!

The music...Mozart-Requiem-Lacrimosa. I love it. In the story a whole town commited a suicide because they thought that was what God was telling them to do. The only person who didn't kill himself buried them all, though he was an atheist and unwelcome.
If taht made it clearer...
Thanks!]
