Battleship Bonanza(my loss) Nov 22 2006

Poetry By: Dana The Cyberpoet
Poetry

My mind is at war. Shells fly around and the loss of
a first cousin impress me deeply. Should I take
some blame for my neglect at not visiting her since
childhood. She also did writing-a novel. Why have I
not tried to acquire it. Hopeless misgivings but
optimistic undertones prevail!

Blasting periscopes on the precincts
of horizon
Subtle majestic mind sets emphasize
Rumbling antics...dweebs...
Nearly playing pick up sticks
But Ohhh darrling!
So I cry Joanne...I lament heartfully
You were...I was...not now?
You did it too...indeed you pressed
the keys to lay keystones but I absconded.
Pity me!
Crosswinds to the galley-and what
of the halyards...backfiring canon
to the frisbee of disdain perhaps dumb
witted misgivings.
Pell-mell contrasts to the sublime
Salinity to the awe-struck shocks
of sotto voci manifestations!!
Really, imperfect loss to the whole
by dynamic questionable rags??
Endeavours to the non-plus forbid-
My loss is still to the mill but not pill
or rill but swills the grill of my skill.
Why cry? Too often such to the negative
muse-perchance the profligate dungeons
of the mystic mind purlieus of the
withdrawn mongrel in the maze.
Recall, recall-why here and now
but the stone will perhaps remain
to be seen...
Not likely as your distance is overt and
your spirit hence float to the outward
Realms of the One perhaps to be
purged to the wideness of the cosmos
and greeted my the Infinite...
