I am not a Jew,

Are you?

And I think the strong

Owe it to the weak

To seek

a solution.

I do not worship Allah

I am just

a mother.

And I think the life

Of any child

Is too high

a price

I am not a painter

But when I see

The colour red

Flowing from the head

Of a pregnant woman

I want to dip my brush in

And paint it on the face

Of the hideous disgrace

We call the human race.
