A poem to those who have loved ones in the military.

I know this is real

For the reason that

When I look upon him

I feel that I am made of steel

Too stiff to move

I freeze when I look into his eyes,

And in them I find no lies

I was his friend first

But now my heart bursts

As I've taken too much time to recognize,

I love him

Ternura, please stay,

The military may take your touch away

But remember,

Your heart will not wander away

Your heart will not go astray

Your heart cannot lose one's way

And so it will say,

Retrieve to where you belong

And sing a beautiful song

For there is soul

Whom without you,

There is in her heart a desolate hole

Ternura, I love you

Time it took to comprehend

Nonetheless I now apprehend

Ternura, yes, the military is a dare

Yes, of this I am aware,

However please care,

And pursue me

So that forever together we share
