Once Friends, Now Enemies

Poetry By: DarkestAngel

A short poem, that interested me. Tell me what you think it means......

Alas! they had been friends in youth

But whispering secrets can poison truth;

And constancy live in the realms above;

And life is thorny; and youth is in vain;

And to be worth with one we love,

Doth work like madness in the brain

. . .

Each spark words of high distain

And insult his heart's best brother:

They parted-never to meet again
