Hidden Secret of the heart

A poem about an affair

Departed oh so quickly
As swiftly as you came
Embarrassment if word got out
A stain upon your name
My tears they dry so quickly
A love that's turned to stone
The solitary silence
A heart now so alone
Return now to your fortress
Your perfect little game
A secret that will always dance
Within our dangerous game
Nothing but an echo
Am I even missed?
The heart it beats a rhythm
Under skin so kissed
All that's left is silence
An empty messed up bed
Yet nothing I can do tonight
Can remove you from my head
