Haze of this night

Stretches beyond complete thought

Beyond our misconceptions

Our hidden desires

Lustful thoughts

Painful frustrations

This dark night

Hides the featurless sky

Within its grasp

Beauty for the blind

Peace for the tormented

Cloudless nights

Haunting moments in our harsh reality

What we see

What we know

Our thoughts

We push away

Hidden from within

Our counsciousness

Relentless thoughtlessness

Skip a step or two

And come right back

I like this and can relate to it well. I love the phrase: relentless thoughtlessness.
This reminds me, a little of my insomnia poem: Forgotten Prayer.

Thank you so much for commenting.

I will read your poem, once I find it. :)

Thanks again.

Very nice.
That's the most flowing time of creativity and thought, late night, when you should be asleep, and dreaming.

I completely agree with that statement. The night works wonders.

Thank you.
