Elegantly lifted
Through undenying fates
Unnerving experiences
And wondrous feelings

Sophisticatedly sought after
By all mankind
Always unchanging
Thoughts erased

Peacefully huddled together
We are as one
Fully awake and never sleeping
For fear of rejection

Always we ponder
For such is our inquisitive nature
Not fully understanding
But always aware

Our thoughts become as one
Forever unappreciated
Forever hoping
For just a speck of understanding

Willfully we gather
Huddled beside one another
Whether our bodies emit a sense of touch
It does not matter

Our minds expect the same fate
Our spirits accept undenyingly
Our emotions run dry
Used beyond their capacity

Forever awake
Yet not so
For we live in each other
Watching the world pass by

Breathing steadily
Walking slowly
For life shall not run dry
Nor shall it escape from within our grasp

Escape the darkness
Relish the light
