Bundled together
Against the winds
Snow on the ground
Stumbling, slipping
Regaining our grip
And falling inevitably
Love’s of past
Freedom wrought
Roses breathed
Decisions; thoughts
Forcefully made
Winds of time;
Leaves of the present
Our cries-
Silenced
By a hidden hand
Our walk continued
Seasons passed
And the roses withered.
