and the lines begin to smudge
creating nothing but a forgotten love affair.
words conflict beneath the moonlight
a paper trail of tears
bookmarked seemingly forever
printed on a postcard
from years ago:
"My love returns to you
so do not cry."
moonlight memories
on the slip of a paper
nothing more
than a word.

Beautiful. A haunting mixture of sorrow and sweetness. Love it.

Thank you.
For the first time in my life the words were never forced out, and yet it seems to be one of my favourite poems.
Strange how that happens.
Word vomit, perhaps.

The majority of my writing is word vomit, as you call it. But whatever works. I think it's the most honest way to write. You should keep doing it.

Thank you, devilrod. Apparently it's really the only way I can write, so I'm thankful it's not terrible.
