A tribute to all the fantasy buffs out there.

In this land of make believe
there are dragons in the mist
and all the world for far and wide
is ruled by sword and fist

In the gentle rolling hills
you'll find faeries playing there
and you just might glimpse an elvish maid
with a garnet in her hair

And in the castle proper
there would be jesters and a band
and the bards from every dale
would sing your deeds to all the land

You would have armor and broadsword
or a leather tunic and a bow
and you would not want to leave your home
but you know you have to go

You would seek to claim your vengeance
and doom to those you find
until the struggles that had plagued you
could at last be left behind

Then you would climb aboard your galleon
and sail out toward the sun
and then ...and only then
would this make believe be done.
