How long until the pain goes away
How long until the pain stops
I feel this pain everyday
I guess for the pain to go away I have to bring in the cops
If that doesn't work I don't know what will
I can try and take you on
But I'm afraid that you're not afraid to kill
Battered and bruised on and on
Time after time
Bump after bump
Why do you repeat this hurtful crime
Instead of I love you and a sweet soft kiss I get shut up and a lump
I beg you to stop hitting me repeatedly
The more I beg the harder you hit my helpless body
Can't you see what your harmful impact does to me
Why can't you stop being a drunk and start acting like you should around me
