I try to fight back the tears of sorrow
Thinking about what will happen tomorrow
Will he come back to me and tell me he loves me again
To me he will always be more than a friend
He said that he deserves much better than me
What will it take for him so see
See that all I was was true
What did I do
I didn't lie, cheat or steal
How does he know what I feel
The way I feel about him words can't explain
