My youngest daughter gave me
a precious jewel so rare.
With a tiny,shiny,smiling face
and a fringe of soft black hair.
Eyes of the very darkest blue
that stop your heart
when they look at you.
And I can watch her growing
and with her I can share
a future full of happiness.
And I hope one day she'll dare
to be the best that she can be.
But she'll always be the best to me
