I could always smell the ozone
Before we could see the sea.
I could hear the huge waves crashing
Trying to break free
of the ocean.
I was first to spot the great white Gulls
Swooping from the sky
And watch their acrobatics
And hear their piercing cry
and commotion.
I'd skip across the hot white sand
And plunge headlong in the sea.
For i loved that cool salt water
That always welcomed me
A soothing lotion.
