The wind has scattered May Blossom over the garden
like confetti.
The large, lush leaves of the Hostas drape extravagantly
over the Drawf Irises.
Among the shrubs, the Aquilegias peep out
in a hundred differing shades of purple.
Like dripping sunshine,the pendulous
Laburnum blossoms are teeming
with exuberance.
The Red Valerian on the old stone wall
runs riot to colonise every nook and cranny.
And,once again,the Lilies are covered
with immense,fat buds,
ready to burst into vibrant flowers.
