So inane in each moment
Insane
So glib with each rambling thought
In shambles
The very world around, once created
Collapsing to the ground
And not so much as a lifted brow
One lifted hand, to the horizon, as it covers over
All here, crystalized into form
The eaters of the lotus
Muscles atrophied
Expressions so utterly vacant
An entire tribe of man
Held captive by the earth
