I was checking Booksie on my iphone and my boy asked me what I was doing. I said reading poetry and checking my messages. He asked why I get messages and I told him I have started writing poetry. At first he didn’t believe me. Like Dad write poems, RIGHT!
Made me log out and log in again to prove it was my site I was on.
Then he started to read, which is no mean feat for him, some of the words, the phrasing and the meanings tough for him to read. He was enthralled.
I had a lump in my throat the size of a melon, he was proud of his old dad! And I am so proud of him!
Anyway right away here booted up his mums laptop and began writing, with very little help from me. I explained that he needed to make the last word rhyme and helped in with structuring the story, but other than that it’s his words his rhyme.
Introducing the new kid on the block.
Minidabble AKA Alex my son aged 11
Comment he will be delighted
Christmas comes once a year
Give me my presents , see ya!
I’m just kidding , I’m gonna stay
I’m gonna make your day
I’ll cook Christmas dinner
I know that’s a winner
Get mum drunk
As a skunk
Fast asleep like a baby
Then i get to eat all the chocolate, maybe?
I love how he changed the font and the text to red, looks like a Christmas menu. BTW I have called him Minidabble but he is calling himself Housemartin
