Fantasy lies when thoughts are defiled

While in front of your eyes you live in denial

Fantasy lies when you fix a false smile

Ignoring the true, whilst excuses compile

.

Fantasy lies when you see her as harmless

Until one day she has become your mistress

.

Fantasy lies when it’s really reality

But your view of what existsswitches polarity

.

Fantasy lies when it’s poisoned your mind

When you can’t find the key for the door, you’re confined

.

Fantasy lies when you open your eyes

And they are still there but you don’t hear their cries

.

Fantasy lies when all the facts are ignored
