Goodnight, my love, goodnight.

Poetry By: Dino

This is about a girl who has stolen my heart, and my first night away from her since we met.

When I left today

I left no trace

I heard what you said

But just in case

I will erase

All thoughts of me

In you but wait

I left my words

And locked the gate

It's left to fate

My heart pumps

Sixty miles an hour

My battery acid

Blood my power

Even in the coldest shower

And thats for you

And only you

This trust is true

And even if it

Ruins me

They'll bury my heart

You will see

And it will grow into a tree

And from the branches

Fruit will form

And dripping pitch

Crimson and warm

Will lower down from sacred arm

And then one day

A child will find

The fruit of me

And peeling rind

See knowledge from my ancient mind

And upon biting

He'll have sight

And know the love

I feel tonight

It's burning bright

My love goodnight
