the sky was clear
it was a sunny day
and i clearly remember
the month was may
we were there at the school ground
playing football wet with sweat
and i took a round and kicked the ball
it was a goal i bet
then in no time i changed
and was about to leave
but there you stood
all alone i concieve
you looked me so hopefully
and i knew there was no one
to drop you home
i approached you
passing my bicycle over the loam
i asked you how will you go
and you said i don't know
i asked you to sit on my bicyle
and we laughed and i gave you a bow
moments later we were on road
you were sitting and shaking
shouting that am gonna fall
and ending with a lol
i felt so embarassed
and felt too shy
cheeks grew red
and looked up at the sky
and i wished when it will end
wished to end this ride
wished to run away
and throw her aside
but she was my best friend
and she counted on me
so i had to drop her
weather i broke my neck or my knee
then finally came the time
when she jumped off my bicycle
and waved me bye and went away
but i wanted to talk to her
and wanted her to stay
the ride was finished
cooling was the breeze
cooling was my temper
i proudly confess
that was a ride to remember
