it was just another morning
of the chilly and cold winters days
i was passing the deserted streets
and turning into alleyways
i was shivering with cold
i was shaking from head to toe
passed a leafless tree
on which sitting was shivering crow
and then i took a left
and there was my home, i was back
tempted to go inside
but something stopped me on my track
i gazed opossite to road
there sat a small boy
with innocent face
and glitering eye
a bowl in hand
and tears in eyes
shivering maddly
i faced up the sky
i prayed to god
to give him a smile
to give him the warmth
the site was so vile
he looked upon me
i saw him in his eyes
i saw peace and hope
i saw his truthful heart surronded with lies
i thought
can't i make this winter
a warm one for that boy
but felt so helpless at the moment
can't he play in snow can't he enjoy
but this is how life goes on
some are happy and some suffers
in this shivering winters
