This is my new Halloween poem about creatures that know how to fool the eyes. "Halloween is the night where every creature can blend in with everyone." ~derekajames

Zombies with no life inside,
It is only a body that walks
without a soul,
The spirit has departed,
They are always doomed to
hunger and to feed forever.

Witches fly around on their
broomsticks,
They give the illusion to
fool people into thinking,
Was that a witch I saw on
a broomstick or just my
imagination.

Vampires with the magic to
turn themselves into flying
bats,
Was that a bat or a vampire
in disguise,
No one knows for sure?

Werewolves roam deep in the
dark woods,
Always waiting for those who
are lost,
It is best to stay at home,
Rather to get chased by a
hairy beast.

Spirits shall rise to walk
the earth for a short time,
Will they visit loved ones
that miss them dearly,
Or will they haunt an old
house,
Ready to scare an innocent
soul.

Beware who is at your door
on Halloween night,

You may encounter many of
these creatures,

That play the trick first
before the treat,

Happy Halloween.
