Why do you judge me for who I am

Why do you take it upon yourself to judge me

To discriminate against me

You know nothing of me

You don't know the pain I've been through

You know nothing

All you see is my lifestyle

Just the cover

But can I ask you something

Why can't you see deeper within?

Why can't you see the person I've become?

All you see is what you want to see

You're blinded by this hatred

You go around cursing who I am

But can you not see

That there is something deeper within

That there is love

That there is compassion

Have you ever wondered?

Why you go around hating who I am

Have you ever wondered?

About stopping the hate you carry

Have you ever wondered?

What it would be like to be my friend

What it would be like to love one another

So I ask you again

Why do you take it upon yourself to judge me?

To hate whom I am

To hate what I've become

To hate me

Am I not human?

Am I made of stone?

Do you think I have no heart?

Do you think I have no feelings?

So tell me

One last time

Why you hate me so much
