At Least Over There I Can Have A Flashback

Maybe I can face you

Maybe I owe it to you

I need not concentrate on me

And be so self centered and shit

Maybe I can just park my ass

Here on my bed

Write a rhyme away

Write it down to say

We will play it safe

And not play a game

As often as you'd like

I will join you all when I can

Mississippi's just a river

And money talks where the trip ended

Acid is all gone

But Fremont is perma-fried

And when I live here ev'ry week

And find myself a home

Whether it's here or there

It doesn't have to matter

Berkeley girls, mostly are too young

And the ones who aren't, are aged

So terribly

But in my home town there are broads

My age

At every gas station

And of course I'd have my friends with me

I would have to say

That "Oakland can go lay an egg"

Not moving there

Even if they let me in

If I have to move

Across the street

From my mom's new apartment

Into a newer apartment for myself

Then I guess I just gotta

Say goodbye to the city life

Oh well!

Oh well!

So? whatever!

I will do it

Just to breathe my way

"In a permanent way"

Like all I'm askin' for
