Because Of Elvis Presley

-

You gotta believe me

"Elvis is dead"

He was much too fat

To survive his death

He died a success though

With all that he sang

He was such a good dancer

And he knew how to jam

I roam around in a wander

Pondering such a wonder

How did he do it?

He like

Invented rock'

He started something that 60 years later

Still exists

Did he do it knowing all along

That that would be thee outcome?

People say the Beatles started

__such a revolution

But I surely think not

I know not

Because it was him

Elvis

Music has never been the same

After he sang what he sang

And played what he played

We are all head banging because of him

Not 4 guys from Europe

No

They got it all wrong

Elvis was the bomb

That exploded a whole new scene

The Beatles only added acid

And electrified it

But it all began with one man

Elvis Presley

Who gave birth to rock'

For everybody

For all

His music lives on

No matter how we change it

Distort it

Or tweak it out

It's gonna stay with us

And that's what's never gonna change
