Soaking You In

-

When my mind is petrified

I look to you

'Cause you are mine

All I ask of you is your time

You give me more

Always

And I love you for it

When the dandelions march on by

I'm sure the tigers won't mind

You and me being each others

For the rest of time

The day glows around us here

In your apartment

In my mind, the sounds of thoughts

Boil and blink

Twinkling like the stars above

There is this feeling erupting

__from thee oceans

An element of water draws me to you

'Cause you're always near

I "see the softer side of" love

The kind you give so dearly

And when this country crumbles

We'll still be in love with one another

Too poor to shop, I'll become

But I'll still have your love

And you will have mine

You untwine my heart

Unmangling it just right

I want you for life

And beyond
