The Miracle I Beg For

In the moment

Could she be coming?

I beg and plead for God to bring her

To Cali'

Even if just for the weekend

My mind bends the spoon

I'm pretty stoked if it becomes true

My heart is glowing with delight

Even though I know she's not mine

She refuses to belong to any one

So I guess that makes it O.K.

One thing I know for sure

"We won't be getting high

Nor have a beer" of course

Off the topic of drugs

She's been my number one

She's so hot and perfect

Not a sleeping-around tramp

A real lady without a man

Some one I will never have

__a reason to be jealous for

Or anything like that

My dreary mind is blown

Blown up and blurry

This is all so fast

Is time in a hurry?

This must be thee end of the world

Because somebody really wants to see me
