"When People Work So Hard"

My undying quest

Thee uncovered layers of honesty

I peel back to examine my mind

I know no diamonds purchasable to I

Yesternights away have been my sought after

Hanging shakethly

__like a rat in the night sky

Demons know the Hell I come from

Because they created it

__and put me there

__I won't mind

Have a mind?

I do not

Yet, I quiver in delight

The daylight sparks a chill

Destroying my thrill

Being so used to the darkness

I cannot enjoy thee Earth's

__normal weather now

But I was born this way

It's like I only live

When the sky is grey

I won't stop and eat some hay

What am I?

Uncle Sam anyway?

If I truly were cattle

I'd be that middle American

Running for governor

__in some coastless state

But I'd rather fuck their cows

And leave

Rather put blame on myself

For fuckin' up before my time was thru

But who can either care?

Me or you?
