A Hundred Beautiful Words

Poetry By: Don George

I struggled not to (outwardly) rhyme in this to avoid sounding trite; it was a struggle (going against my natural impulse)

Peaceful sleeping under starless night

A hundred delicious words my charge

Eagles soar above winterless perching

Graceful flowing between spartan design

Ever-last journey growing useful impart

Dreaming arousal thanksgiving delight

Panorama splendid vision entrancing

Deepening sanctuary exciting terrain

Effervescent melodies pinnacle lasting

Tenderness growing sweeping elaborate

Emeralds singing juicy notes ripe

Silken moist lips reigning warm softness

Enameled luster breathlessly breathing

Labyrinth turning lotus open youthful

Bright Burning flames crackle snap

Horizon soothing orange health well

Ocean rippling water encompassing

Glistening tide moon washing beams

Flowers amid morning scented honey

Wildlife nectar stretching jumping flying

Great gifts enlighten boldness surviving
