a little ditty

We cannot all be brilliant, we cannot all be bright, but we can settle

into ourselves and see the daytime from the night.

Let's use breathing as an example; always in and always out.

You cannot have one without the other although sometimes we think we can.

So says our mother, our father, sister and brother; when we listen

very close, we know that they are right.

I cannot end this poem without putting up a fight.
