Dark
and yet
light...
Cold
and yet...
Warm.
The sun is ending It's daily sojourn.
By any old tree, it will not be obscured.
Sheep grazing in a pasture, dusted with snow;
unfazed by the big sun and It's orange glow.
Along the periphery are the trees, soaking up the light.
They show us their dark side as they frame the oncoming night.
