Whatever about love; when it fades;
You may go into the darkest corner
Or just face it ; or like me pretend you do.
That the hardest stone of all comes from the unrelenting of
Eternal crushing terrestrial forces;
Of straining tectonic plates; volcanic fires.
They forge in the smithy of our planet
Why do you crush from the yearning heart?
Every thing that is the essence of our love;
With a fire so fierce and a force so vast;
That I can no longer stand the brutal pain of constraint., and dammed restriction.
The smallest pressures bear upon the heart, incessantly; remorselessly
Until the love must die
And maybe so will I
And you may have what’s left of our spent love;
Emotions turned as brittle as flint;
Maybe a diamond; as big as the Ritz.
The final symbol of loves failure .
