savoring sickness as a lullabye
amend the current trend and head for the hills
tombstones and caskets as far as the eye can see
and we call it progress
i think they left me somewhere far behind
hunched over a nameless grave that was a friend
now it's just us three
me, him, and the wind
can you see what i have seen?
can you taste life drip from every orb
on the sweet grape vine
like honeysuckle to the mouths of babes
countless times we entertwine
until everyone can see
that I am a piece of you are a piece of me
