Sick from the inside out
Remove the warning label and devour
Child safety caps and fake prescription pads
Help to lead a life that's soured
Like glass I fell and broke apart
Shards upon the barren ground
My sight narrowed in to just a point
I realized that no one was around
I woke up in darkness
Pressing out around the edge
Trying to construct a world
In which IĀ could safely live
Did I fall or just stumble
I tried to create balance
But one sad lonely line said
"All you've made is malace"
When fires like a thousand eyes
Sprung up inside my head
And neurons started smoking
My eyes twitched beneath their lids
I saw a faint and wonderous sight
The world! The world at last!
And like a babe borne in the night
I took my first real glance
I came up in sweat and blood
And decaying organic matter
A thousand broken bottles lay
A thousand more rose and scattered
