You sit in pretty boxes
All covered in central air
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
You see in vivid pictures
Events in China and Korea
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
You have pills that control new life
And pills that alter the old
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
You throw away the remnants of
A meal that would've fed a small nation
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
You make an outgoing call from
A wireless device in your pocket
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
You stream information
At speeds no person ever went
But it's never enough you said
I laugh my bones to shreds
We will never be happy
Just melancholic; filled with apathy
It's never enough we've said
And I still laugh my bones to shreds
