February by: Dylan N. Morin

Poetry By: dylanmorin

February is a poem from my first poetry book. My book will include January and possibly March. This poem book is filled with my darker poems. Enjoy!

February air ripping at your face,

numbing your finger tips and reminding you,

you are of the human race.

Snow crunches beneath your feet,

cold air filling your lungs,

your heart skips a beat.

The naked trees stand tall,

no color or leafs on them,

just clumps of snow fall.

Children playing and snowballs flying.

With each breath they take,

they are a second closer to dying.

One second closer to the chilling February air,

cold and alone forever,

nobody will be there.

Let the cold numb your fingers,

enjoy this life to the fullest,

for death does linger.
