I was whole

Right before the sabotage

Once upon a time

And that's what you came

Strolling down the streets

And catching that glint of light

That felt me to the brim

With hope for me and you

And I was happy for awhile

Admiring from the side

And wondering if you knew

How much I wanted you

We should have had fun

The two of us

Both kids

Trying to live life to the fullest

But you didn't agree

Our being together didn't benefit you

So you started tearing me to pieces

One

Difference

To many, to late

Each day it was shown more

Until I couldn't deny it

Two

Ignorance

When you couldn't tell how I felt

Completely oblivious

To the world around you

Three

Neglect

Did you even know I was there

Standing right in front of you

Four

Ego

The downfall of mankind

The downfall of my mind

Five

Deceit

Tricking me into following your plans

Trying to shape how I worked

Six

Backstabbing

You said I did what we both know I didn't

Let the framing of my life begin

Seven

Betrayal

The piece you savagely and jaggedly cut out

It cut the deepest

Bled the most

And will take the longest to heal

The pain

And sorrow you brought me

I knew it was fate

But I pushed my luck for you anyway

I guess we'll never share that dance

And take that moonlit stroll

And here I am

Hating you

The one I used to

Love

And now, the oneā€¦

I never want to see
