But You Made Me Into A Facade

Poetry By: elegantbleeding

Possibly the shortest poem I've ever written.

You think you know the secrets I hide,
Yet you have no storm clouds behind your eyes.
You think you've made yourself aware,
But in the end, there's nothing there.
You all think you know me so well,
But yet you have so little to tell.
You think you know where my thoughts lie,
Yet you've never even seen me cry.
So if you knew what I believed,
Then why am I so hard to see?
