Withering beauty.
So sudden it seemed, this tragic vision painted before my eyes…..
Amidst the falling leaves, I had found my beloved, bloodstained and pale, falling into the forever, ever so silent.
Aware of my presence she turned toward me her agonizing stare, with one last breath, and whispered,
“ Everything dies before my tear filled eyes. Dead and silent, a golden leaf of autumn falls before them? Its
withering beauty, more breathtaking than a sunset on the sea..”
Her last utterance…
The forest falls silent.
So silent.
So silent…
