Lovely Poetry

I believe poetry is all around us. In my perspective, poetry is defined as the emotion within us that is desperately knocking at the door. All you have to do is let her out. She can be gentle and kind, or rough and angry. Poetry is that feeling you get when you realize the cookies are done. She could even be the loss of a family member. Poetry isn't just a simple how-to cookbook; she's the overwhelming passion that is filling your lungs with every breath you take.

Without sound, without notice,
springing out like a delicate lotus,
Lovely poetry is softly teasing.
When glistening water reflects the morning star,
when the soft touch of dandelions are seen afar,
Lovely poetry always self-seeking.
The aroma of freshly cooked cinnamon apples,
or the melodious sound of bells from the chapels,
Lovely poetry fills the inner being.
